Abstract
This Report focuses on formal housing finance in Indonesia. It presents information from a 2008 representative household survey on the financing plans of Indonesian households living in the nation's seven largest metropolitan areas who plan to purchase a dwelling in the next three years. It reviews evidence on would-be purchasers' loan product preferences and their knowledge of mortgage loans.
